The first full year for [brnrd.me](https://benkellis.com/) is over. A lot went on in 2013 - I've moved the blog across platforms (from Wordpress to [Medium](http://medium.com/?ref=benkellis.com), to [Svbtle](https://svbtle.com/?ref=benkellis.com), then [Ghost](http://ghost.org/?ref=benkellis.com), then back to [Wordpress](http://wordpress.org/?ref=benkellis.com), because who am I kidding); I've redesigned it many a time (and I've finally found a design that I'm completely happy with, so I'm sticking to it). Most importantly, I've written a fair bit, about a lot of interesting topics in social media and digital marketing, especially around my forte - analytics. So, to properly end the first year of [brnrd.me](https://benkellis.com/), here are the top 5 posts (in terms of traffic) of 2013:

1. [Engagement Rate - out of Fanbase or out of Reach?](https://benkellis.com/brnrdme/engagement-rate-out-of-fanbase-or-out-of-reach)
  - I sent this article to a few brands, including [Simply Measured](http://simplymeasured.com/blog/?ref=benkellis.com), Adobe, and mainly [SocialBakers](http://www.socialbakers.com/blog/?ref=benkellis.com), who were strong advocates of their engagement rate out of fanbase. I was surprised to find out that my "Engagement Rate" article somehow influenced them to introduce engagement rate out of reach on their platform ([read about it here](http://www.socialbakers.com/blog/1875-socialbakers-introduces-a-new-engagement-metric?ref=benkellis.com)).
2. [Engagement vs Consumption: the Facebook Dilemma](https://benkellis.com/brnrdme/engagement-vs-consumption-the-facebook-dilemma)
3. [Facebook EdgeRank is Dead - Now What?](https://benkellis.com/brnrdme/facebook-edgerank-is-dead-now-what)
4. [On Social Sentiment and Sentiment Analysis](https://benkellis.com/brnrdme/social-sentiment-sentiment-analysis)
5. [Reach, Audience and Impressions - on Twitter and Beyond](https://benkellis.com/brnrdme/reach-audience-and-impressions-on-twitter-and-beyond)

So, what's in store for this year? More content, more analysis, more reviews and more guest posts on other blogs as well (which I shall link to on [brnrd.me](https://benkellis.com/), of course).

Onwards and upwards...
